Why buy new? TLF has Used and Rebuilt ECU's that may fit your needs!
The ECU controls the air/fuel mixture through all demands on the engine. There are too many slight variations in the air/fuel mixture to count that have to change to keep the optimal performance. A carburetor cannot do that. The ECU uses sensors to determine what demand is on the engine. They are, throttle position, engine load (MAP or MAF), coolant temperature, intake air temperature, barometric pressure, and for fine tuning, oxygen sensors. With all this information, the ECU knows how long to open the fuel injectors for. If your electronic control unit needs repairing than you have come to the right place.
Controlling the engine is the most processor-intensive job on your car, and the engine control unit (ECU) is the most powerful computer on most cars. TLF Performance Parts repairs electronic control units so that you can be sure to keep a perfect air/fuel ratio for the engine under all operating conditions to maximize efficiency (gas mileage) and power. All of our parts are inspected thoroughly for quality and dependability.
